“Never a dull (all) moment…”
“Winter Beats”:
After last week’s “epic-ness”, you could be excused for expecting a slump.
Nah, mate.
You lot we’re proper on it again!
Thirty seven scored 30 points or more and of them, eight smashed into the forties.
Gary B put up a valiant effort (a bit like Palace at the weekend) but just couldn’t cope with our weekly winner’s last minute luck skills!
Neil Osborne 55 (8) piled it on with last minute gains from Celtic & Stoke, topped off with Raheem’s latest offside protecting a 2-1 correct score.
Witchcraft at it’s worst best.
£20 in the bag Neil – I might leave that til the last minute to send over… ; )
“You Burn”:
A bad week for 23 punters who scored 19 points or less this week.
Particularly bad for David G who didn’t get a single correct score.
Really bad, however, for this triumvirate of underachievers…
Yep, that’s you Dave Crisp, Sam Arora & Dave Nicklin 13 (0)
Quite literally from the sublime to the ridiculous in less than a week!
Correct Score of the Week:
Whoa!…most popular score was Fulham’s 2-1 win over QPR– 32 of us got that!
Thirty one got the very annoying last minute spoiling Celtic 4 Livingston 0
14 just knew Hamilton would score against Rangers for a 1-3
Nine landed on the two-two in south east London. The wrong side of south east London btw…
8 thrilled at the thrilling Blackburn 3 Barnsley 2
Five were grateful for the 3-1 Hibees win over Motherwell
Rob C & Bry D nailed Middlesbrough 2 Hull City 2
Andy C celebrated the bore draw between Bristol City & Nottingham Forest
Bijay L made us all green by happening upon Kilmarnock 3-0 Hearts
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Gary Blackburne for his I-don’t-usually-put-this-much-effort-in inspired, West Ham 2 Spurs 3!
Bet of the Week:
Shezan J was on “Bet of the Week” position 65th in Week 8 so we asked him to provide a treble selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.
And guess what?!
He forgot! (so did I to be fair)
So, £3 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 65th bringing it to £3.00 – result!
Anders Hoglund is at 11th this week….
Anders, I need your 3 team treble by Friday, please!
Table News:
“Hearts”:
Jason Morris remains top, now only 1 point ahead of Pete B who in turn is four points ahead of Kate S in third…
Three crashed the Top Ten.
“Denial”:
Jamie Fairhurst remains bottom, five points behind Frankie F, who in turn is 5 correct scores adrift of her nan, Patricia F…
“Faith”:
Highest climber this week, up a whopping 41 places is newcomer Matthew Murphy – honourable mentions go to Gary B (+24), Paul V (+23), Ryan G (+22), Paul S (+21) and Craig W (+20)
“Wired”:
Falling furthest this week, down a whopping 22 places are Sam Arora & Alex Taylor – dishonourable mentions go to Dave C (-21), Paul C (-19), Mr 2-0 (-19), Debbie L (-19), Mike K (-18) and Dave N (-18)

And Another Thing:
A word from the tech team…
“When you are editing your predictions, it is recommended that after modifying a Home or Away score that you press the tab key (on mobile tap ‘outside’ of the input box).
This should ensure that your change is saved, and you should see a brief ‘Saved!’ message displayed to confirm this.
When you have completed all your updates, it is also recommended that you then click on the ‘Back’ button at the bottom of the page – then open the prediction week again to confirm that your edits are all saved.”
A word from me…
Sausage fingers is a real thing – beware!
Twitter is dead & so is Instagram – but we’ve got a What’s App group!
Wanna join?
Why?
Well, I send round reminders that you don’t have to check your email for.
Erm…some people are quite funny (some are annoying) & hopefully, we’ll get some good pics of away fans at games.
We will crush any “hilarious GIFs” though…
Plus, you can gloat when you land that 9 pointer in the 91st minute!
Email me over your number and i’ll add ya ([email protected])
Cheers,
