If you felt like you had a good chance of winning this week (yes, Frankie did her own scores this week…), you probably felt about right!
It was a scrunched-up week with 11 punters scoring over thirty points and they were all vying for the £20 prize right to the end…
Nick H, Gareth M, Hira Y and Deepak B were all within striking distance but just failed for too many reasons for me to list here (soz).
That left two out front – one benefitting from late goals at West Ham & Fulham and the other from a 90th minute 3rd for Rangers.
However, it was a 102nd minute miss that took from one and gave to another.
Andy Fowler & Neil Templeton 37 (6) share the spoils this week as Olly Watkins saved Andy the four points he predicted, and, denied Neil the four points he needed to claim victory for himself…
Wowsers.

Bumper week for many…most popular score was Man Utd’s 2-1 win over Brentford – 26 of us got that!
Fifteen banked the five points on offer for the 2-2 betwixt Brighton & Liverpool
12 had Celtic’s 3-1 win over Kilmarnock
Eleven got Brighton’s “Desmond” with Liverpool
10 had the very annoying last minute spoiling Fulham 3 Sheff Utd 1
Ten more just knew St Mirren wouldn’t score against Rangers for a 0-3
8 landed on the two-two in Edinburgh. The wrong side of Edinburgh…

6 got the dull-all at Hillsborough
David G, Sam O & Lily T had their secret prayers answered by the “Saints of Nil” for the stalemate at Selhurst Park

Norman L had Wrexham to keep a clean sheet for a o-1 at Crawley
Bijay L put us all to shame by predicting Southampton 1 Rotherham 1

David G (again) got the 1-3 Swansea win over Plymouth
Martin S turned up Aberdeen 0 St Johnstone 0. Then sobbed a little bit as he thought of those poor souls who were actually there.
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Stephen Peaston for his I’m-still-buzzing-about-that-PSG-drubbing-so-i’m-going-with-mad-scores inspired, Burnley 1 Chelsea 4!
Bet of the Week:
Gary Mitchell was on “Bet of the Week” position 83rd in Week 1 so we asked him to provide a treble selection for the £3 “trixie” bet.
And guess what?!
So, £3 goes on “Bet of the Week” slot 83rd – very acceptable, me thinks…
