PAS Lucky 13 Winter ’15 Week 6 round up
“Oh Man The Future”: Wowzers! Thirty people got 30 points or more this week (does that mean football is suddenly “predictable”?). Five players got 40 points or more. Even Gary B managed to that many points so it must have been really easy to predict…ahem, anyway, Richard H must have thought he had the admiration of the “syndicate” this week as he racked up a whole 43 points and surely the weekly prize! Alas, Walsall produced a stunning comeback from 0-2 down in the top of the League 1 table clash winning 3-2 with a 91st minute goal – that goal gave 9 points to Andy Chesworth 44 (6) and the £20 prize! Lucky lucky Andrew…
“When Your Life Feels Like A Loss”: Now be honest with me Debbie Lee 7 (0) – are you doing this on purpose? Do you really want that wooden spoon that my daughter has been cluctching for the past two seasons that much??! Anyway, the only way is up…
Correct Score of the Week:
A lot better this week people – most popular score was Boro’s 3-0 defeat of Charlton – 30 of us got that!
23 nabbed a bit of Celtic’s 3-1 v Aberdeen
21 got Derby’s hammering of Rotherham
15 got Spurs 3 – 1 Aston Villa
Seven got Ipswich’s 0-0 with Cardiff.
7 got the very entertaining Top 2 Walsall 3 Gillingham 2
5 got dull-all Lancashire derby draw in Preston
4 got the 0-0 between Newcastle and Stoke.
Ben McK & Andy C happened upon the 0-3 drubbing of the Swans…
Simon Linds got the very commendable Chelsea 1 Liverpool 3.
Andy C (again!) knew it would be Palace 0 Man Utd 0.
However, this week’s best correct score goes to Gary Blackburne for his complete guess, WBA 2 Leicester 3!
Bet of the Week:
So, the new “system” spat out 3 draws that were the most popular among the 79 of you who entered predictions and guess what?!
We won again – hoo-ray! We’re on a roll…
Reading v Brighton & Ipswich v Cardiff did the honours but Hamilton to lost 2-4 after being 0-4 down to St Johnstone : (
So, £7.92 goes on to “Bet of the Week” slot 11th. Nice.
