“Someone Great”: I hate Chesterfield. They’ve got a stupid church with a rubbish spire, they’re from a county that gives Yorkshire a run for its money in the most hated stakes and they conspired to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory v Boro back in ’97 when I had money on them. They scored a 91st minute “consolation” goal at Newport on Sunday…much to the delight of James Challinor 38(5) as he swooped past me to pick up this week’s £20. Well done James, hope this makes up for keeping you from your beauty sleep this weekend with all the Dundee U shenanigans! #1stis1st&2ndisnowhere“Get Innocuous!”: “We’re red & blue, you know it’s true!” Palace lose and a PAS Palace fan suffers the consequences. Art imitating real life or real life dictating to losers playing a football game? Hmmmm, maybe it should be changed to “blue & blue”… Howard Thomas 9(0) is the latest Palace victim to have a ‘mare! #JeffThomas’sshotforEngland
